About This Project

Please note: No actual game play yet.

This is an early prototype of a DOOM-like first-person game focused on a loadout and ability selection system.
It is not a finished or fully playable game yet.

Core Concept

Before entering a level, you choose a loadout.
Each selection adds or removes player abilities, creating real trade-offs instead of straight upgrades.

Examples:

  • More speed, less survivability

  • Stronger offense, reduced mobility

  • Defensive builds with movement penalties

Current Features

  • Loadout / selection screen

  • Ability modifiers applied to the player

  • In-game loadout cycling (keys 1–5)

  • Max coins enabled so all selections can be tested

  • Basic DOOM-style movement and shooting

Controls

  • WASD – Move

  • Mouse – Look

  • 1–5 – Cycle loadout slots in game

  • ESC – Quit to menu

Status

This build exists to test systems and UI flow.
Gameplay, enemies, balance, and progression are still in development.
